KARACHI: The judicial commission constituted to investigate the Mr Raza case has formally begun proceedings and issued notices to the relevant parties.

According to the commission, Mir Raza’s family members have been summoned on August 28 to record their statements and provide relevant information.

A notice has also been issued to the family’s lawyer, Jibran Nasir.

The commission has further issued a notice to the Sindh government’s focal person in connection with the proceedings.

Under the commission’s rules, the proceedings are expected to be completed within 30 days.

The judicial commission comprises Sindh High Court Judge Justice Umar Sial and has been tasked with examining the circumstances surrounding the Mir Raza case.
