Mob harasses a family in Islamabad on Independence Day

In a disturbing incident, a group of unruly boys harassed a family in Islamabad on Independence Day (August 14), it emerged on Friday.

According to sources, the incident took place at a park in the federal capital where hundreds of men targeted a couple.

A video of the incident also went viral on social media, showing the group chasing the girl, who was accompanied by a boy, and making inappropriate comments.

In the video, one of the boys can also be seen holding a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) flag.

The video was uploaded by one of the alleged harassers, named Salman Khan, on his TikTok account, which was later deleted from the reels sharing application.

The account of the alleged suspect also contains a video of a mob harassing a transgender in the capital city.

However, the exact location of the incident could not be verified till the filing of this report.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and concern over the safety and well-being of women in public spaces.

Social media users urged Islamabad Capital Police to take action against the suspects involved in the distressing incident.
