Motorcyclist killed, another seriously injured in Karachi trailer crash

Karachi: A trailer ran over motorcyclists near Schon Circle in Clifton, Karachi, according to the sources.

According to rescue sources, one motorcyclist was killed in the incident, while another sustained serious injuries.

The body and the injured were moved to the hospital. The accidents involving heavy traffic are not new in Karachi.

Last month, a couple and their child died after a trailer hit their motorcycle at Karachi's Native Jetty Bridge.

The police said that the incident took place around 1:05am when the couple and a child were riding a motorcycle.

They sustained critical injuries and were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors pronounced all three dead.

The victims’ identities could not be immediately confirmed. The police said that the driver managed to escape from the spot along with the heavy vehicle.
