Motorway police return lost bag worth Rs1 million to owner

The Motorway Police have set an example of honesty by returning a lost bag containing cash, U.S. dollars, valuable items, and important documents to its rightful owner.

According to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police Central Region, the bag—estimated to be worth around Rs1 million—was recovered on the M-3 Motorway and successfully returned to the owner.

The spokesperson said the bag belonged to a traveler heading from Lahore to Multan and had been inadvertently left behind at the Buchike Service Area.

After realizing the bag was missing, the owner contacted the Motorway Police helpline (130) to report the loss.

The recovered bag contained a mobile phone, US$1,200, Rs50,000 in cash, and important documents.

The owner, identified as Syed Imran Ahmed, praised the Motorway Police for their honesty, professionalism, and sense of duty.
