During the process, the medical board will collect DNA samples and work to determine the cause of death.

Amir, a resident of Karachi, was reported missing on January 6, with authorities later discovering his charred remains in a vehicle in Balochistan, as disclosed during a press conference on Friday.

The police indicated that they became aware of the death following a startling confession from a suspect during the investigation.

As the narrative developed, investigators revealed on Saturday that the circumstances surrounding the missing person's demise stemmed from a dispute related to a female individual.

On Monday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) handed Armughan over to the AVCC for four days of physical remand, after which he disclosed horrific details of how he tortured Mustafa and later burned him alive after driving him to Hub.

According to the accused, he had invited Shiraz and Mustafa to his bungalow on January 6, where he severely beat the victim. Subsequently, his head and knees started bleeding.

Armughan stated that he was drunk. Shiraz stopped him when Mustafa's injuries started bleeding excessively. Then, the accused dumped Mustafa into the trunk of his car and drove toward Hub Chowki.

Upon reaching Hub, when Armughan opened the trunk, Mustafa was still breathing. he rolled down the windows, sprinkled petrol on the victim and taunted him, ‘Run if you have the courage.’

Mustafa struggled to move, because of injuries to his knees. Seeing his weak attempts to get out of the car, Armughan set the vehicle on fire.

Immediately after setting the car on fire, Shiraz told Armughan to leave the site return to Karachi. They fled the scene on foot and reached back Karachi after taking lifts from different vehicles.

Investigating officers stated that based on a tip-off from Armughan, an operation was conducted at his bungalow in Khayaban-e-Momin, where an iron rod hidden in the guard room was recovered.

During his appearance in the court, Armughan had said that he didn't know Shiraz and he was being trapped in a fabricated case.
