Muzaffargarh nurse foil rickshaw driver’s rape attempt by sharing her live location with lady doctor

A woman in Muzaffargarh, who was returning home after work, foiled a rickshaw driver’s rape attempt by sharing her live location with a female doctor, who immediately informed the police.

The incident occurred on Saturday night. The nurse became suspicious when the driver took an unusual route, prompting her to contact her senior for safety.

The nurse had boarded a rickshaw at Katchehry Chowk to return home from a private hospital.

After receiving the woman’s live location, Muzaffargarh police swiftly tracked down the accused.

According to police, the driver had tied up the nurse and attempted to rape her near Mondka Bypass, but managed to escape when officers fired aerial shots.

A case was registered against two individuals on charges of rape and attempted murder.

The rickshaw was taken into custody and raids are underway to arrest the suspects.
