One killed, another injured in Karachi road rage incident involving suspended cops

KARACHI: One person was killed and another injured in yet another disturbing incident of road rage in Karachi’s Orangi Town area on June 10, allegedly involving suspended police personnel.

According to details, the altercation began when a youngster’s motorcycle accidentally collided with the bike of a suspended policeman in a narrow street of Orangi Town.

As tensions rose, a local resident intervened to defuse the situation and helped the young biker walk away safely.

However, shortly afterward, the suspended police officials returned to the scene, visibly enraged. In a shocking esc@lation, they attacked the local resident who had earlier tried to mediate.

As a crowd gathered in response to the commotion, one of the suspects reportedly brandished a firearm and opened fire to disperse the onlookers. The reckless shooting tragically resulted in the death of one individual and left another injured.

Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene, prompting panic among residents. 

The case of the incident has been registered.
