KARACHI: The authorities investigating the case of suspected narcotics smuggler Anmol alias Pinky have collected extensive evidence from her mobile phone.

The forensic examination conducted on the phone yielded over 100GB data, which has since then been handed over to the investigating officer after the forensic report was prepared.

These records consist of approximately 75,000 images, online transactions, and hundreds of screenshots of bank transaction slips, as per officials who claim these records are related to the suspected narcotics business and financial transactions between individuals linked to narcotics.

Moreover, almost 13,000 contacts were extracted from the mobile phone, while the forensic investigation also revealed that Pinky had two WhatsApp accounts active on the mobile phone – one with a regular number SIM while the other with a business configuration.

This forensic examination of the mobile phone was conducted upon request from the police on May 15.
