Police save elderly marriage aspirant from Karachi from being kidnapped in Katcha

An elderly marriage aspirant man from Karachi was saved from being kidnapped in Bakshapur Katcha area of Kashmore, the police said.

A man Zia Jaffri in his video statement after being recovered from the police, said he received a call from an unknown number on which a woman asked him that she wanted to marry him.

Mr. Jaffri said since he wanted to marry again, he bought the stuff for marriage and left for Bakshapur from Karachi to marry the telephone girl.

When he reached Bakshapur, he was received by a man on the motorbike and when they were on their way to the location of the bride, the patrolling police saved him.

"I didn't know that I was being taken into the Katcha area," he added.

Zia Jaffri thanked police for saving him from being kidnapped.

It is to be noted that cases of honey trapping areon the rise in the katcha areas.
