An investigation revealed that a serving police officer was involved in facilitating Armaghan Qureshi, the prime suspect in the murder of Mustafa Amir. Authorities have since taken action against the officer.

Meanwhile, authorities investigated two girls, Zoma and Angelina, in connection with Mustafa Amir’s murder case. Zoma, who was assaulted by Armaghan on January 31, revealed her ordeal.

According to officials, the implicated officer is stationed at the Gizri Police Station. He was summoned for questioning after Armaghan’s phone data showed a call between him and the officer.

Before attacking Mustafa Amir, Armaghan had already tortured another victim. However, the police officer failed to take any action against him despite being aware of the assault.

Zoma was with Armaghan on New Year’s Eve, December 31. A few days later, he called her to his house and questioned her about a dispute that occurred that night. The situation quickly escalated as he subjected her to brutal torture, stripping her naked, recording videos, and beating her mercilessly.

According to investigative sources, another individual, Shiraz, was present when Armaghan tortured Zoma.

When Zoma lost consciousness, Armaghan called the police officer at the Gizri Police Station, asking him to take the girl away and admitting that he had assaulted her. However, the officer allegedly refused.

Instead, Armaghan booked an online cab, instructed Zoma to go to the National Medical Center for treatment, and sent Shiraz to follow her to ensure she did not report the incident to the police.

Upon arriving at the hospital’s emergency room, Zoma initially claimed she had been attacked by street criminals. However, seeing her critical condition, the hospital administration alerted the police.

Officials from the Defense Police and emergency helpline 15 arrived at the hospital. Medical staff informed them that Zoma had been raped and tortured.

Shockingly, instead of reporting the case to higher authorities and taking action, the police ignored the matter and left the hospital without initiating any proceedings.

As per sourse, Armaghan frequently contacted an ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) from Gizri Police Station for assistance in his illegal activities. In return, the officer allegedly received regular payments from him.

ASI Nadeem, who was stationed at Gizri Police Station as a duty officer, has not yet been arrested by the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC).

A senior superintendent of police (SSP) will conduct an inquiry into Nadeem’s involvement, and further action will be taken once the investigation is complete.
