Teacher arrested for torturing student over incomplete schoolwork

A 13-year-old boy was severely tortured by a teacher for failing to complete his school assignments in the Kanthala region of Khanpur Tehsil, Haripur.

The boy, identified as Zeeshan and the son of Mohammad Ramzan, is a 7th-grade student.

According to the victim's father, a teacher named Muhammad Munir forced the child to hang upside down with the assistance of two other students and brutally beat him with a stick.

The injured child was taken to Tehsil Hospital Khanpur in serious condition.

This incident occurred at Kanthala Government Middle School in the Upper Khanpur area.

However, the Khanpur police have apprehended the teacher after filing a First Information Report (FIR).
