Rawalpindi man arrested for performing black magic rituals at girl's grave

A man in Rawalpindi was caught performing black magic rituals while digging up a girl's grave. Local police confirmed the incident and detained the suspect.
According to the police, Mirza Sulaiman, the father of the deceased girl, said that he buried his daughter in the cemetery located near Chauntra village.
Sulaiman learned that an unknown man was digging up his daughter's grave. He arrived with the police, who arrested the suspect red-handed.
The suspect, identified as Yaseen Bukhari, had a shopping bag carrying a clay statue of half a human, seven amulets, and seven nails tied with iron wire, which indicated that he was performing sorcery.

The police apprehended him and registered a case under Section 297 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Aslam Pervez for committing unIslamic practices at a burial site.
The first information report (FIR) stated that Bukhari was a resident of Adhowal village and was trying to bury those items with the intention of black magic.
The accused initially claimed that his wife had been bedridden for a long time and had left nothing for treatment. An spitirual healer told him that something was buried in the cemetery, if he would remove it, then everything would be fine.

However, when questioned about the items he was carrying while digging, the suspect failed to provide a satisfactory explanation.
Later, the police produced him in court, but he was released on bail as the charges filed were bailable.
