School principal, teachers sacrifice class 2 student during black magic ritual

In a shocking incident, a class 2 student was strangled to death in his hostel by the school principal and teachers during a black magic ritual to bring fame and prosperity to the institution.

According to Indian media reports, the incident took place on September 22 in Uttar Pradesh’s city of Hathras.

Five suspects, including the school manager, his father, and three teachers, were involved in the ritual performed on the child, identified as Kritarth.

Police revealed that the school manager’s father, Jashodhan Singh, believed that the sacrificial ritual would help the school flourish and achieve success.

Authorities disclosed that Jashodan Singh had previously attempted the ritual on another child but was unsuccessful.

The accused, Dinesh Baghel, Jashodan Singh, and teachers Laxman Singh, Veerpal Singh, and Ramprakash Solanki, took the 9-year-old Kritarth to the hostel’s tube well to carry out the sacrifice.

However, when the terrified child panicked, they strangled him to death.

Dinesh Baghel then informed Kritarth's parents that their son was unwell. Upon arriving at the hostel, they found their child missing and were told he had been taken to the hospital.

The child’s family grew suspicious and contacted the police, who later discovered Kritarth’s body in the school director’s car.

The hostel accommodates 600 students from Grades 1 to 5. A post-mortem examination confirmed that the child was strangled, with injuries found on his neck.

Local police arrested the five suspects and are investigating whether others were involved in the heinous crime.
