Residents demand action against encroachments outside NICVD, NIH Karachi

KARACHI: Citizens have raised serious concerns over illegal shops and encroachments set up in front of NICVD and NICH hospitals on Rafiqui Shaheed Stadium Road.

According to reports, these makeshift establishments have been operating without any legal documentation or official permits.

Residents allege that, with the connivance of certain officials, repeated unlawful stay orders are being obtained to protect these encroachments.

This practice has not only obstructed the movement of patients and the general public but also violated civic rights and misused the judicial system.

Citizens have appealed to the Cantonment Board and relevant authorities to launch an immediate inquiry, remove the illegal structures, and take strict action against those involved in facilitating the stay orders.

They stressed that urgent measures are essential in the public interest and to ensure justice.
