Sahir Hasan, son of TV actor Sajid Hasan has denied his involvement in the Mustafa Amir murder case.

He said Armaghan was only an acquaintance, Mustafa was my friend, and he did not buy or sell drugs from him".

Earlier, a judicial magistrate (south) sent a television actor’s son to police custody on a one-day physical remand in the Mustafa murder case.

The Special Investigation Unit of police presented Sajid Hasan’s son Sahir before the judicial magistrate (south). In the hearing, the investigating officer said that over 500 grams of drugs were recovered from the suspect’s possession.

Hassan’s lawyer Faraz Faheem contended that his client had been falsely implicated in the case, citing a dispute between Hassan and the Darakhshan Police.

The lawyer added that Hassan had previously filed a case against the Darakhshan Police for making threats.

The special magistrate granted the police a one-day physical remand of the suspect and directed that he be presented in the relevant court on Monday (tomorrow).

The SIU had registered a case against the suspect. He has been accused of drug dealing in Street No 6 of Phase 6, Khayaban-e-Rahat in DHA.

The first information report stated that at the time of his arrest, the suspect was allegedly carrying a black bag on his shoulder, which contained five packets of drugs.

The police also recovered a “digital scale and other items from the bag,” along with a mobile phone and cash from the suspect’s possession.
