Shangla suicide attack claims lives of 5 Chinese engineers

At least six people, including five Chinese engineers, were killed in a suicide attack on their convoy in Besham city of Shangla on Tuesday.
Malakand's deputy inspector general of police (DIG) said that a suicide bomber hit his vehicle into the car carrying Chinese nationals with their driver.
According to DIG, the Pakistan driver was shifted to a local hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The foreigners were travelling to Dasu Camp, Kohsitan from Islamabad, the top police officer added.
Following the attack, security forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
Law enforcers have started a search operation around the incident's site to arrest the masterminds involved in the attack.
On the other hand, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached the Chinese embassy in Islamabad to inform the ambassador about the details of the attack and the deaths of Chinese engineers.
