Suspect confesses to rape, murder of 6-year-old boy in Karachi court

The key suspect allegedly involved in six-year-old boy Wali's rape and murder has confessed to his crime in a Karachi court.

The minor boy was sexually abused and murdered before his body was stuffed in a sack and thrown from the third floor of a residential building in the Lea Market area last week.

Hamza and other suspects, including his father, uncle and brother, were presented before a judicial magistrate to record his confessional statement under Section 164 of the CriminalProcedureCode. The suspect confessed to the rape and murder of the boy before the judicial magistrate.

After his confessional statement, the court sent the suspects to jail on judicial remand.

The investigation officer was ordered to submit a challan before the court within a stipulated time.
