Thief steals car in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Iqal area in 44 seconds

Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 3 witnessed a shocking incident of vehicle theft, where skilled criminals managed to steal a Honda City in just 44 seconds.

According to CCTV footage, the culprits swiftly unlocked the car, started it without a key, and drove away within a matter of seconds. The video highlights the increasing sophistication of car thieves operating in the city.

Authorities have yet to comment on the incident, but the footage has raised concerns among residents regarding the rising number of vehicle thefts in Karachi.

Earlier, a thief was caught red-handed while attempting to steal a water motor.

Local residents, frustrated by the crime, subjected the man to public humiliation. Reports indicate that he was locked in a room, placed under a fan in the biting cold, and doused with cold water.

The situation escalated as residents allegedly threatened to hang him upside down.

A video of the incident has since gone viral, sparking a polarizing debate online. While some viewers defended the act as swift justice in the face of inadequate law enforcement, others condemned it as cruel and inhumane.
