Two brothers killed, two injured in a 'targeted attack' in Karachi

Two brothers were shot dead and two were injured in a suspected targeted attack in the Guru Mandir area of Karachi on Thursday morning.
The CCTV footage of the harrowing incident also emerged, in which six gunmen on three motorbikes could be seen attacking the car.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Aleena Rajpar said the incident took place when five brothers, identified as Shan, Zubair, Sajid, Wajid and Omair, were commuting to the city court for a hearing of a case.

The policewoman said that almost 18 bullets were fired at the car with 9mm pistols.
Following the incident, the occupants of the car were shifted to a private hospital for medical assistance.
Police said that two brothers, Sajid and Omair, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while two others, Wajid and Zubair, were severely injured.
However, one brother, Shan, remained unhurt in the suspected targeted attack.
Police have gathered evidence from the crime scene and are conducting raids to arrest the suspect.
On the other hand, sources said the victims were named in the murder case and the hearing of the case was scheduled for today.
