Woman’s body found hanging from tree in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A woman’s body was found hanging from a tree in the limits of police station Sabzi Mandi in Islamabad, police said on Thursday.

The body was found hanging from a tree at IJP Road. The video is being widely shared on social media.

The body was untied and shifted to the hospital for further legal procedure. The identity of the woman could not be ascertained. 

In another incident of same in nature, a body of a young man was found hanging from a tree in Gulistan-e-Sarmast area of Hyderabad.

According to the Airport police, the deceased 23-year-old Asghar Ali Maachi’s neck was tied with a muffler. However, the police said, Maach’s feet were touching the ground which had created suspicion.

The police said that they had started an investigation of the case. The body was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for medicolegal formalities.
