Australia clinched the third and final Test against Pakistan by 8 wickets on Saturday at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The home team easily chased down 130 runs in the afternoon of the fourth day at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Pakistan's long streak of losing Test series against Australia continued as the Green Shirts haven't won a single match since 1995.

Pakistan only managed to score 47 more runs in the morning before losing their last three wickets, finishing with 115 runs just before lunchtime.

Pakistan's Sajid Khan bowled Usman Khawaja for a duck in the first over of Australia's chase. But David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne didn’t let Australia stumble and made sure they didn't lose any more wickets quickly.

In his last Test match, Warner was given the guard honour by Pakistan cricketers who lined up to clap for him as he walked in. He finished his Test career with a huge score of 8,786 runs.

Warner scored an impressive 57 runs off 75 balls with 7 boundaries in last Test innings before getting dismissed by Sajid Khan when Australia needed just 11 runs to win at the time.

Marnus Labuschagne also played well, scoring an unbeaten 62-run innings, guiding Australia to victory with a single shortly after Warner's departure.

As in the second Test in Melbourne, Pakistan's shaky batting let them down and prevented them from ending their long streak of losses in Australia.

Just when it seemed like Pakistan were on track to make Australia chase a high score on a tough pitch, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood dashed their hopes of a big total.

He ripped through their batting order, taking four wickets in a quick spell and leaving Pakistan struggling at 68 for 7.

Rizwan and Jamal gave Pakistan a glimmer of hope by putting on 42 runs together after losing some wickets, but their fight didn't last long.

Hassan Ali got bowled by Nathan Lyon for a quick five runs, putting an end to Pakistan's innings.

Cricket pundits were puzzled that Aamer Jamal, the star bowler from the first two tests, didn't bowl until after lunch. He took six wickets in his debut test.
