Lahore Blues, featuring star players Babar Azam and Naseem Shah, suffered a defeat at the hands of Karachi in the National T20 Cup at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Both cricketers turned to domestic cricket to regain form, but their struggles continued as they failed to steer their team to victory. Babar and Naseem were rested for Pakistan’s recent tour of New Zealand due to persistent poor form.
Babar, who managed 87 runs in two innings during the Champions Trophy, could only score 22 off 17 balls while representing Lahore in his second National T20 match.

Earlier, Karachi Whites posted 171/5 in their 20 overs, with Saud Shakeel leading the charge with an impressive 73 off 52 balls.
