Ace cricketer Babar Azam had his fans worried after posting about losing his cell phone. However, the former skipper put all concerns to rest as his post turned out to be a marketing stunt for a brand.

Earlier, Babar had shared a post on his social media accounts, informing his followers about the loss of his phone.

"I have lost my phone and contacts. Will get back to everyone as soon as I find it," he wrote.

As fans expressed concern and reassured Babar not to worry, he shared an advertisement on his X account five days later, revealing that his phone had been found—but in reality, it was never lost.
