Football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired an opulent mansion in Dubai's exclusive Jumeirah Bay Island, commonly known as 'Billionaires Island
After joining Riyadh-based Al Nassr Football Club in 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo now earns a staggering £175 million annual salary with the Saudi club.
The global topscorer in 2023 will be honoured at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, his new home city.
Bloomberg reports that Ronaldo's luxurious new residence is on Jumeira Bay Island aka 'Billionaires Island,' a secluded spot reserved for the world's wealthiest folks.
The report hasn't revealed much about the inside of Ronaldo's new home, but they say it's worth a whopping tens of millions of euros.
'Billionaires Island' lives up to its name, as it packs more billionaires per square kilometre than any other spot in the whole UAE.
Popular as an extravagant sanctuary for wealthy families from Saudi Arabia, Israel, India, and Russia, Billionaires Island offers a plethora of amenities within its idyllic setting.
Among them is a breathtaking mansion with six lavish bedrooms for sale, private beach access, a car showroom, a spa, a pool with a view of downtown Dubai, and on-site staff accommodation.
Billionaire's Island boasts ten super-fancy houses built by Palace Luxury Living. Each one costs a staggering $545 million, making the whole island incredibly expensive.
This gated island for the ultra-rich has fancy restaurants, a yacht club, a beach resort, and a breathtaking view of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
Ronaldo's choice of Dubai's Billionaires Island reflects a broader trend among Saudi Pro League players who are known for their taste for exquisite living spaces and high-end amenities.
With his home base in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, just a brief two-hour flight away, Ronaldo is set to share his splendid retreat with partner Georgina Rodriguez and their five children.
While excelling on the football field, his off-field ventures demonstrate a preference for acquiring premium real estate in the world's most exclusive destinations.
