India launched a series of military strikes targeting civilian areas across Pakistan on the night of May 6–7, resulting in the martyrdom of 31 innocent civilians. In response, the Pakistan Army retaliated forcefully, reportedly shooting down five Indian warplanes.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) brought down three Rafale jets, one Su-30MKI, one MiG-29, and a Hebron combat drone. Additionally, multiple Indian check posts and a brigade headquarters were destroyed.
On Thursday, India escalated the assault by deploying Israeli-made drones to strike several Pakistani cities. Most of these drones were intercepted and neutralized by Pakistan’s defense systems.
