Indian has started a propaganda claiming that Pakistan would face sanctions from the ICC after Pakistan announced that the team will not play against India on February 15.

According to Indian media’s claims, supporting its propaganda against Pakistani team, a virtual ICC meeting is expected to be held today to discuss Pakistan’s decision and determine whether the team should be allowed to continue in the tournament.

Moreover, the Indian media claims that if the ICC finds Pakistan in violation of tournament regulations, the team could face financial penalties, future tournament bans, or the top members of the ICC may refuse to play bilateral series with Pakistan.

Furthermore, they claim that participation of current foreign players in the PSL can also be banned, while the PCB might be asked to compensate broadcasters for potential losses.

However, official statements from the ICC or PCB confirming any disciplinary measures have not been issued yet. The ICC’s playing conditions generally require teams to play all scheduled matches, but exceptions can be made in dire circumstances.

According to reports, the Pakistani government decided not to play the match with India due to national policy considerations. The PCB has claimed that it will continue to engage with the ICC on the matter, and any decision will be made after formal consultations and ICC regulations.
