akistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has reportedly refused to sign the central contract offered by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), putting forward a set of demands that the board has so far declined to accept, sources said on Wednesday.
According to sources, the PCB had extended central contracts to 30 national cricketers, placing Rizwan among ten players listed in the Category B bracket. Notably, no player was included in Category A this year.
The sources further revealed that while all other cricketers have signed their contracts, Rizwan has withheld his signature, citing concerns and conditions he wants addressed before committing.
They added that the PCB has not agreed to Rizwan’s demands and that there is little likelihood of the board reconsidering its stance.
