Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited Dubai Stadium today ahead of the highly anticipated Pakistan-India Champions Trophy match.

During his visit, Naqvi observed the Pakistan team’s practice session, interacted with players, and held discussions with the coaching staff to assess match readiness.

Speaking to the media, he expressed strong confidence in the national side, stating that while conditions may fluctuate, “Insha’Allah, Pakistan will win.”

In addition to his observations, Naqvi addressed an unrelated incident that occurred during the Australia-England match at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where the Indian national anthem was mistakenly played.

He noted that the International Cricket Council (ICC) is investigating the error, as it was responsible for organizing the tournament and preparing the anthem playlist.

Naqvi questioned how India would react if a similar mistake were to occur during a match in Lahore. He also pointed out that the PCB had extended goodwill by releasing 22 Indian fishermen recently.

The PCB has formally sought clarification from the ICC regarding the anthem incident. As both teams prepare for the upcoming clash, attention remains on their performance and the resolution of the investigation into the anthem mishap.
