A newlywed couple made headlines after skipping their valima ceremony to watch the second Test match between Pakistan and the West Indies at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

The bride, dressed in an embellished bridal outfit, expressed her excitement, saying, “I have never seen a match in the stadium before. It was my long-held wish to experience it in person.”

She added, “My husband fulfilled this wish, and I am very happy.”

The groom, equally passionate about cricket, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Today is our wedding, but I left the valima to come to the stadium and support Pakistan and my favorite player.”

He added, “I pray that Pakistan wins today’s match,” during an interview with a local channel.
