Pakistan Shaheens storm into Asia Cup Rising Stars semi-finals

Pakistan Shaheens extended their unbeaten run in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament by defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by nine wickets, securing a place in the semi-finals.
The match was played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
After winning the toss, UAE opted to bat first, but Pakistan’s bowlers delivered an exceptional performance, dismissing the opposition for just 59 runs in 18 overs.
Pakistan Shaheens chased the 60-run target comfortably, reaching it in only 5.2 overs with one wicket down.
Sufiyan Muqeem led the bowling attack with three wickets for 12 runs, while Ahmed Daniyal and Moaz Sadaqat picked up two wickets each, conceding 7 and 19 runs respectively.
Shahid Aziz, Muhammad Shehzad, and Arafat Minhas claimed one wicket apiece.
In the run chase, Moaz Sadaqat once again showcased brilliant form, scoring an unbeaten 37 off boundaries that included four fours and three sixes.
The left-hander had earlier scored 96 against Oman and 79 not out against India A.
Muhammad Naeem scored 6 runs, including a six, before getting out, while Ghazi Ghori remained unbeaten on 16 with three boundaries.
Both semi-finals of the tournament will be played on 21 November.
Pakistan had already defeated Oman and arch-rivals India in their first two matches of the event.
