Pakistan Shaheens handed India A a crushing eight-wicket defeat in the sixth match of the Rising Stars Asia Cup.
In the match played in Doha, Pakistan chased down India’s 137-run target in the 14th over with just two wickets down.
Opener Muaz Sadaqat played a brilliant knock of 79, launching an aggressive assault on the Indian bowling attack. His innings featured four sixes and seven fours.
Mohammad Naeem scored 14, Yasir Khan made 11, while Mohammad Faeeq remained unbeaten on 16.
Indian bowlers Suyyash Sharma and Yash Thakur took one wicket each.
Earlier, India A were bowled out for 136 on the last ball of the 19th over, failing to complete their 20 overs.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi top-scored with a rapid 45 off 28 balls, while Naman Dahr contributed 35. The rest of the batting order failed to impress.
For Pakistan, Shahid Aziz bowled superbly, taking three wickets for just 24 runs. Muaz Sadaqat and Saad Masood took two wickets each, while Sufyan Muqeem, Ahmed Daniyal, and Ubaid Shah claimed one apiece.
It is worth noting that, just like India’s senior men’s team, the emerging side also mixed politics with sport—
