The national cricket team of Pakistan has reportedly taken a Pakistani chef along with them to Sri Lanka.
According to media reports, the team management decided to take a chef from Pakistan to closely monitor players’ nutrition and dietary preferences throughout the tournament.
Sources said the decision to take the chef along with the team was aimed at maintaining athletes’ health and performance during the tournament by providing balanced and energy-rich meals tailored to individual requirements.
The chef, reportedly, prepares a variety of dishes based on a planned menu, including traditional Pakistani cuisine alongside other meal options suited to players’ tastes.
In addition to regular meals, players are also being served freshly prepared food in dressing rooms during practice sessions and matches. The focus is not just on training and strategy but also on diet and wellness as part of preparation for the tournament.
