Leading the charge for Pakistan will be Abbas Afridi, who has been named captain for the fast-paced six-a-side competition.

The squad comprises Abbas Afridi (captain), Abdul Samad, Khawaja Muhammad Nafay, Moaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Shahzad, Saad Masood, and Shahid Aziz. Danish Aziz and Muhammad Faiq have been designated as non-traveling reserves.

The team is set to depart for Hong Kong on November 5, ahead of the tournament’s commencement. Pakistan will play both of its group stage matches on the opening day, Friday, November 7, facing Kuwait and India as part of Pool C, which includes India and Kuwait alongside Pakistan.

The Hong Kong Sixes tournament returns this year after last year’s successful comeback, featuring twelve international teams battling in a high-octane, rapid-fire cricket format. Each match consists of five overs per side, with six players on the field per team, promising thrilling and boundary-filled encounters.

Legendary cricket stars like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Shane Warne have graced this tournament in the past.

Pakistan’s opening matches will kick off with a contest against Kuwait in the morning, followed by a highly anticipated clash against India in the afternoon on the same day.

The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 will feature 12 international teams divided into four competitive groups, promising a thrilling display of fast-paced cricket action.
