Pakistan and the UAE share longstanding diplomatic, economic and labour ties, with hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis living and working across the Gulf state in various sectors of the economy.

On Monday, the government of UAE issued mobile alerts for people living in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, informing them about the probability of missile strikes.
