24 Israelis killed in 370 ballistic missile attacks from Iran: Israeli PM Office

JERUSALEM/TEHRAN — Israeli officials have confirmed that Iran has launched a total of 370 ballistic missiles along with hundreds of drones toward Israel over the past four days.

According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, these attacks have resulted in the deaths of 24 Israeli citizens, while at least 592 others have been injured. Among the wounded, 10 remain in critical condition.

The statement also revealed that 30 strategic locations across Israel have been targeted by Iranian aerial strikes during this escalation.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Health Ministry has reported that the number of Iranian casualties from Israeli retaliatory strikes has risen to 224, with the toll expected to climb as rescue efforts continue.

The crossfire between the two nations marks one of the most intense escalations in recent years, drawing concern from the international community.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about an imminent peace agreement between Iran and Israel.

In a statement shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Sunday, Trump claimed that several behind-the-scenes meetings were already underway to ease tensions between the two nations.

"Iran and Israel should make a deal — and they will make a deal," Trump wrote, confidently adding, "We will have peace, soon."

While Trump did not provide specific details about the nature or participants of these meetings, his remarks come as global attention remains focused on the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
