Four Palestinian journalists, who have been exposing Israel's atrocities in Gaza through their fearless reporting, have been nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize.

The nominees include Motaz Azaiza, Hind Khoudary, Bisan Owda, and Wael Al-Dahdouh, who risked their lives to bring the world's attention to the human tragedy unfolding in Gaza.

Motaz Azaiza, a photojournalist, captured heart-wrenching images of destruction and devastation in the besieged enclave, while Hind Khoudary, a local TV reporter, bravely reported from the war zone despite the dangers.

Bisan Owda, a journalist and social worker, exposed the reality of war through her videos, and Wael Al-Dahdouh, who lost his family in the conflict, documented the struggles of Palestinians with his reporting.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has received 285 nominations for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize, including 196 individuals and 89 organisations.

The winner will be announced on October 11 and the award ceremony will take place on December 10.
