People around the world have amplified their voices for Palestinians as Israeli atrocities persist in Gaza despite the ceasefire. Boycotts, demonstrations, and other protest acts continue to be carried out by activists across several countries.

According to Al Jazeera, the world has witnessed around 50,000 protests in support of Palestine, with Yemen hosting the highest number, followed by Morocco with 5,482 protests.

The United States recorded 5,346 protests, followed by Turkiye with 2,349, and Iran with 1,919.

Pakistan saw 1,539 pro-Palestinian demonstrations, followed by France with 1,397, Italy with 1,390, Spain with 1,102, and Australia with 967.

The demonstrations were accompanied by widespread boycotts of pro-Israel brands, a powerful and quiet movement that gained momentum at the grassroots level.

People began making more conscious choices about the brands they support and encouraged others to avoid those linked to Israel.

As a result, major brands such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Coca-Cola experienced declines in revenue, with some outlets even shutting down in various countries.

Amid horrifying videos emerging daily from Gaza — showing children mutilated, civilians injured, and families suffering from hunger and relentless violence — millions across the world have taken action in their own capacity, either by joining protests or participating in boycotts.
