A suspect involved in a mass killing at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, which led to the deaths of 15 people due to his anti-Semitic activities, is now facing a string of new allegations, court documents obtained on Wednesday reveal.

Naveed Akram allegedly opened fire on families who gathered at Bondi Beach to celebrate Hanukkah in December.

The 24-year-old has previously been charged with numerous criminal offenses, including 15 murders and the commission of a terrorist act.

The court documents indicate that he faces 19 new charges, including several counts of attempting to kill individuals by shooting them and discharging weapons with intent to resist arrest.

Akram, who is currently imprisoned in a secure facility, has not yet made any statements regarding his plea.

His father and suspected accomplice Sajid, aged 50, died in an encounter with authorities during the attack.

The new accusations come following an extensive probe launched recently, which held public hearings into the mass shooting at Australia's Bondi Beach, the country’s worst massacre in more than three decades.
