A video from China left social media users stunned, revealing a toxic workplace practice that sparked widespread backlash.
In the viral video, employees at a Chinese company can be seen bowing before their boss and chanting slogans that express their willingness to give their lives for him.
They chanted, “Welcome Boss, Huang of the Qiming branch. Whether we live or die, we will never let our work mission fail."
The video showed male and female employees lying on the ground in the office corridor, displaying exessive submissivenes.
The footage was recorded in the southern city of Guangzhou, triggering a wider conversation about toxic work culture in the region.

However, the company’s legal team denied any involvement by the company owner in such activities.
The South China Morning Post reported that the company’s legal advisor stated the boss had never been involved in such incidents and that the video does not accurately reflect the company's practices.
Despite the company's denial, the video continued to circulate on social media, sparking discussions about the toxic work cultures often found in China, where employees face extreme pressure to perform and sometimes endure harsh professional practices.
