Elderly woman gang-raped, killed in India's Bihar

In a horrifying incident in Nawada district in India's Bihar, an elderly woman was brutally gang-raped and killed.

The local police found the mutilated body of the victim on December 26. 

Subsequently, four suspects were arrested by the Bihar police in connection with the alleged crime. 

The suspects admitted to raping and murdering the elderly woman, but one managed to escape. 

A police officer revealed that the victim and her husband had traveled to Gaya City on December 25 to visit relatives.

While using a rickshaw from the railway station, the driver abruptly took off with only the elderly lady inside.

The police identified the culprits through CCTV footage and discovered the victim's blood on the suspects' clothes during the investigation.

Additionally, the weapon used in the crime was recovered.
