Children in northern Gaza gathered to contribute funds in support of the Lebanese people, enduring an Israeli military offensive that has killed their loved ones and destroyed their homes and businesses.
A donation drive was organised at the Jabalia refugee camp, where Palestinians displaced by Israeli military offensives collected funds to assist families in Lebanon.
Women were seen collecting money in charity boxes from children, who lined up with Lebanon's national flags in hand, expressing their solidarity with their Arab brethren.
The United Nations reported on Monday that more than one million people have been forced to flee their homes due to Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon.
More than 1,000 people have been killed and over 6,000 injured as Israel continues to strike densely populated residential areas, aiming to target top Hezbollah leaders.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli soldiers entered southern Lebanon on Tuesday to begin a ground operation while continuing airstrikes.
Hezbollah confirmed on Saturday that its founding leader, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, who had led the group for the past 30 years, was killed in an Israeli airstrike at a command headquarters in a southern suburb of Beirut.
Hasan Nasrallah's assassination sparked uproar in Lebanon, with thousands mourning the death of the country’s political and spiritual leader.
Meanwhile, international organisations and countries continue to push for a ceasefire, questioning Israel’s objectives as it persists in bombing innocent civilians in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine, while vowing to fight until its archrivals Hamas and Hezbollah are eliminated.
