The Palestinian resistance group has called for Israel to be held accountable for full implementation of all terms outlined in the newly signed agreement.

Following the signing of the first phase of the peace accord, the organization issued its first official statement.

Israel and Hamas have signed the initial phase of the Gaza peace plan. In a statement shared on social media, Hamas confirmed that the agreement includes provisions for ending the war in Gaza, withdrawal of Israeli forces, delivery of humanitarian aid, and exchange of prisoners.

Hamas urged the U.S. President, Arab mediators, and international stakeholders to ensure Israel’s strict compliance with all clauses of the accord and to prevent any delays or violations.

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to honor its pledges and vowed not to abandon the principles of freedom, sovereignty, and self-determination for the Palestinian people.

It is noteworthy that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of the U.S.-proposed Gaza peace agreement. U.S. President Donald Trump, in a social media statement, announced that under this deal, all hostages would be released soon, while Israel would withdraw its troops to the agreed lines.
