A drone attack by Hezbollah on Saturday targeted a building in an Israeli neighborhood where the private residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is located.

According to initial reports from the Israeli army, three drones were launched from Lebanon toward Israel early in the morning. Two of them were intercepted, while one struck a town in Caesarea, where Netanyahu resides.

Videos circulated on social media showing police and ambulances outside a building following the attack.

Netanyahu was not present at the location during the attack, and no casualties were reported by Israeli media.

The Prime Minister’s office has yet to release any statements regarding the incident.

According to Al Jazeera, the town in northern Israel is home to businessmen, politicians, and strategic assets, such as oil refineries.

Footage shared by Quds Network on X showed a drone moving ahead of an Israeli helicopter toward Caesarea, successfully striking Netanyahu’s residence.

As of now, Hezbollah has also not claimed responsibility for the attack.

From October 7, 2023, to October 4, 2024, at least 12,054 attacks have been exchanged between Lebanon and Israel, with 9,891 initiated by Israel, according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED).

Earlier, Lebanon launched a deadly drone attack on an Israeli army base, killing four IDF soldiers and injuring over 60 others on October 13, as early warning systems failed to intercept the drones.
