The administration of the Holy Kaaba and the Holy Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the derogatory remarks made by an Indian priest against the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in a glaring act of Islamophobia.

A speech by Indian priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati at a public event in Ghaziabad was shared by journalist Mohammad Zubair on the microblogging platform X.

The priest has also been accused of spreading Islamophobia and disrespecting holy Muslim figures in the past.

The derogatory remarks against the Holy Prophet (PBUH) sparked outrage among Muslims across the world.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind leader Maulana Mahmood Madani condemned the blasphemy and called for action against the priest.

According to Indian media, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the inflammatory priest under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code at the Sihani Gate police station for offensive religious remarks.

The X account of the “Holy Mosques” denounced the priest's Islamophobic speech on October 5, calling on authorities to act against such hate incidents against Muslims.

“The Holy Mosques strongly condemn the blasphemy of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) committed by a priest of India and call upon international organisations to stop elements that create communal tension and take steps to prevent the spread of Islamophobia and promote religious harmony,” the post read.
