India suffers over $960 million loss after Rafale jets destroyed by PAF

India lost more than US$963.38 million or approximately Pakistani Rupees 271.67 billion, following the launch of its “Operation Sindoor,” with three Indian Rafale jets destroyed by Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
According to a report, India's attempt to wage war with Pakistan severely impacted its defence resources, with damage worth $963.38 million, after the failure of three Rafale jets, a Su-30MKI, and a Mig-29 aircraft.
The current price of a Rafale aircraft is worth $288 million or approximately Rs80.6 billion.
In addition, a Su-30MKI aircraft was also destroyed on Wednesday, valued at $60 million, and a Mig-29 aircraft was shot down, valued at $48 million.

The Pakistani Air Force responded to India's aggression, effectively thwarting the enemy's air attack and destroying valuable enemy drones.
The shooting down of three Indian Rafale fighter jets by Pakistan dealt a major blow to India's security and defence system at the strategic, psychological, and diplomatic levels.
Rafale aircraft are considered the world's most advanced multi-role fighter aircraft. These aircraft, manufactured by the French company, are designed for deep strike missions, air superiority, reconnaissance, and nuclear deterrence.
India signed a $7.5 billion deal in 2016 to buy 36 Rafale aircraft. The delivery of these aircraft was completed in 2022. It is reported that India paid $240 million per aircraft. These aircraft were manufactured according to Indian requirements.
