Despite facing humiliation at the hands of Pakistan, the Indian government appears unapologetic, while its delegation continues to indulge in lavish activities funded by public taxes.
According to reports, the Indian public is outraged over the irresponsible behavior of the high-level delegation currently in Washington.
The trip, allegedly aimed at restoring India's global reputation, is now being criticized as a farce designed to mislead the public.
Following failed diplomatic efforts in Guyana, Panama, Colombia, and Brazil, the Indian delegation—led by senior politician Shashi Tharoor—arrived in Washington. Media sources revealed that instead of engaging in meaningful diplomacy, Shashi Tharoor was seen singing at private gatherings, wasting time and public funds.
The Indian public has reacted strongly on social media, criticizing Tharoor and other delegation members for their frivolous conduct at a time when India's global credibility is under scrutiny.
Citizens expressed frustration, stating that taxpayers’ money should be spent on national interest, not on unnecessary celebrations.
