An Indian woman, known as Anju in India and Fatima after converting to Islam, embarked on a heartfelt journey of love that spanned across borders. After tying the knot with Nasrullah in Pakistan, she recently returned to India, eager to reconnect with her children.
Anju, a 35-year-old from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, made headlines when she married Nasrullah in Pakistan following a blossoming relationship sparked through social media. However, her recent return to India after five months of marriage marked a poignant moment as she reunited with her 15-year-old daughter and six-year-old son.
In an interview with Indian media, Anju shared insights into her life and aspirations. Presently residing in a rented house in Delhi, she expressed her desire to seek employment and start afresh in India. Her focus, however, is on spending quality time with her children, relishing the moments of joyous reunion.
Her husband, Nasrullah, has plans to visit India soon. Anju expressed her excitement about showing Nasrullah the sights and culture of her homeland, mirroring the experiences he shared while showcasing Pakistan to her.
In a video recorded before her departure for India, Anju shared her appreciation for the people of Pakistan, stating, "I am Anju, and today marks my last day in Pakistan. Since my arrival, I have cherished every single day, and now it's time for me to bid farewell."
When asked about her experience during her stay in Pakistan, Anju remarked, “The people here are incredibly warm, hospitable, and respectful to everyone. Wherever I went, I was welcomed and treated like a family member.”
