Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah on Tuesday to discuss regional developments and efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting focused on reviewing the current state of relations between the two countries and addressing recent developments in the Middle East.

The engagement comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and promote stability in the region.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as essential tools for resolving regional conflicts. He expressed hope that recent ceasefire efforts would help foster conditions conducive to long-term peace and security.

“Iran values Saudi Arabia’s position in condemning Israeli aggression,” Araghchi said, praising the Crown Prince’s efforts to support peace and stability in the Middle East.

Earlier in the day, Araghchi also met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Mecca, where the two discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation and address shared regional concerns.
