Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s last monarch, has claimed that the Islamic Republic is nearing collapse as domestic pressures and international conflicts escalate.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Pahlavi asserted, “The moment is approaching very fast, the regime is on the verge of collapse.”
Pahlavi, a longtime advocate for democratic change in Iran, emphasized that preparations are already underway for a post-regime transition.
“We’re not just thinking about liberation from this regime; we’re actively working on the transition to what we hope will be a democratic outcome,” he said.
The comments come amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, with both countries engaged in direct military confrontations for the first time in decades.
As Iran faces growing internal unrest, economic strain, and now external military conflict, opposition figures like Pahlavi are intensifying calls for organized regime change and a democratic future for the Iranian people.
