The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has pledged a “proportionate and decisive response” to Israel and its allies following deadly strikes on Iranian territory, which resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military officials and civilians.
In a statement released Friday, the IRGC condemned the Israeli military assault on Iran, which included targeted attacks in Tehran and other Iranian cities. The strikes reportedly killed several civilians, including children and women, as well as prominent military figures.
Among those killed was Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, who had played a pivotal role in advancing Iran’s missile and defense capabilities over the past 16 years.
The IRGC hailed Hajizadeh as one of the key architects of Iran’s deterrence strategy and a symbol of innovation and strength within Iran’s defense establishment.
The IRGC emphasized that the attacks would not go unanswered.

“The Zionist regime of Israel and its regional and international supporters will undoubtedly receive a proportionate and decisive response at an appropriate time and place of our choosing,” the statement said.
The IRGC also vowed to continue the path of its fallen commanders, reaffirming commitment to Iran’s sovereignty, independence, and the broader goals of the so-called “Resistance Front” against Israeli and Western influence in the region.
Tensions in the region remain high following the Israeli strikes, which mark a significant escalation in hostilities between the two longtime adversaries.
